And here we are.

Remember climbing for the first time? Your arms were weak, your legs wouldn’t listen, and then someone shouted “Use your feet!” like that meant anything. But then you reached the top.

Now, the chance of a normal social life is gone. Climbing isn’t just a thing we do. It’s who we are. We’re immersing ourselves in micro-beta, and people who don’t climb seem suspicious. The rock isn’t just rock, and that one climb… it haunts us like an ex we still have feelings for.

But why?
Because our brain is a sucker. It rewards us with a nice hit of dopamine every time we level up—a sneaky little trick of chemistry and psychology that ruins our free time.
